Liberty uses premium steel that has been specially processed to remove surface contaminants that form on the surface of the steel during manufacturing. Many of our competitors do not. Surface contaminants allowed to remain on the surface of the steel attack the steel’s surface weakening the bonds between the surface and the primers and coatings applied to it. Initially causing imperfections in the safe’s finish and eventually deterioration and rust.
